Flynns Wines 2008 MC Shiraz

Established in 1999, Flynn's wines is located 13kms north of Heathcote, Victoria.

When establishing the vineyard Greg and Natala planted a number of different clones with the aim to increase the complexity of the final blend. MC stands for Multi Clone.

The 2008 MC Shiraz exhibits aromas of ripe cherry, mint oak and a hint of pepper. The palate is full bodied yet elegant, with generous fruit, soft rounded tannins, and a long finish. Aged 14 months in a combination of 40% new American and French oak barriques sourced from 5 different coopers, this is a well balanced and elegant wine showing Heathcote regionality.
