Hoegaarden Witbier

The Hoegaarden Witbier has a relatively thick sudsy head that dissipates fairly quickly leaving a dusty lacing on the glass. The colour of the body is luminescent lemon. On the aroma it shows its origin (Belgian Beer), with notes of white rum, citrus, rockmelon, honey dew, banana esters and parrafin. On the palate it shows primary banana esters, highlighted by salty spritzy clove and floral notes of rose and violets.

Overall a very tasty alternative to your typical lager without being too radical. Pairs well with Asian foods such as stir-fries, curries and beef in blackbean sauce.
