Appearance:
Pours silver meringue-like pillow of a head. Honey yellow
body. Leaves light scattered lacing.
Aroma:
Big ripe banana milkshake with plenty of honey and vanilla
qualities. Shavings of clove and salted butter. Touch of burnt butter sauce
as well. Very nice.
Palate:
Aforementioned combination of banana spectrum typical of
good German Hefe (Wheat beer): green, ripe, candied, touch of over-ripe.
Banana characters more subtle on the palate than the nose. Very
approachable paradigm shift for lovers of good lager. More effervescence
than the Hefeweizen, if you dare think about smashing cheap chardy or
sparkling on a hot day think again and buy some of this...You won't be
disappointed!. Currently the easiest beer in Armadale Cellars to recommend
to both beginner and expert alike if they just want something refreshing
and flavourful without knocking their head off.
