Bright lemon yellow in appearance.  Forward and immediately complex nose of beurre bosc pear, nectarine, almond, toasted hazelnuts, oatmeal and vanilla.   Medium bodied, rich and round, slightly cream texture.  Flavour-wise, the aroma flows straight through to the palate, fruit and oak forming a seamless bone.  A fine line of acidity lends freshness on the finish.  Raise a glass to Wayne Stehbens.
