The wine is a lovely salmon color and offers up a deep, complex and
vinous nose of cherries, blood orange, rye toast, cinnamon, plenty of
smokiness and a fine base of chalky soil tones. On the palate the wine
is deep, full-bodied and beautifully light on its feet, with a fine
core of fruit, a touch of Gevrey-like meatiness, elegant mousse and
excellent length and grip on the vibrant and focused finish. This is
superb!

Disgorged in July 2017, the latest rendition of the NV Brut
Rosé Grand Cru unfurls in the glass with aromas of smoky blood
orange, rose petals and raspberries. On the palate, it's full-bodied,
broad and vinous, with a pinpoint mousse, ripe acids and a deep, fleshy
core of fruit. This is a gourmand, characterful wine that will work
well at the table. It's a rosé de saignee that incorporates a
small proportion of Chardonnay.
