"Deep colour with a good tint of purple in the meniscus; the aromas are reserved and low-key, with suggestions of forest-floor, dried herbs, humus and leaf-litter. The palate explodes with a mass of concentrated flavour and tannin, a full-bodied pinot with impressive tannin structure well matched to the powerful flavour. A majestic pinot noir of enormous length that is still emerging from its shell: at least another year is suggested before opening it. This has wow factor!"
