Chateau du Pavillon Sainte-Croix du Mont 2019 (6 x 375ml)

40 year old vines grown on clay-limestone hillsides.  Blend of Semillon (80%), Sauvignon Blanc (18%) and Muscadelle (2%).

Vivid golden yellow in appearance.  Alluring nose of apricot, honey and citrus peel with candied fruit notes.  Rich, luscious and sweet, stonefruit accented palate with a twist of botrytis-driven complexity.  A fine lick of acid provides freshness on the finish. Might not be as grand as the best Sauternes, but it's a great stickie for the money!
