Light straw with green tinges. Citrus, pear, orange, mango curry
leaf, slate, sea salt on the nose. Vibrant clean acidity, dried pear,
marigolds, elderflower, curry leaf. A wine with great balance and
texture, so young and needing time before it shows all its potential.
Cellar up to 15 years.
Winery note
Bright lemon yellow in appearance with greenish-gold glints.
Inviting bouquet of white stonefruit and melon overlaid with lemon and
grapefruit citrus. Subtle spice lurks in the background. A bright
herbal element lends further interest. In the mouth, round, full and
pillowy - there's real depth and volume to this wine - a masterclass in
texture. The oak is beautifully integrated to the point that it is lending
subtle complexity and ballast. Precise acidity caries the finish,
which is long and very fine. Has the structure to evolve in bottle
for many years, but is irresistible now.
