Bright ruby red in appearance.  Attractive nose of cherry pulp, freshly tilled earth and tobacco.   Medium bodied with fine polished tannins; very drinkable and approachable.  The palate is classic Sangiovese with sour cherry, blood orange and dried herbs to the fore, moving slightly earthbound toward the finish.  It makes for a highly versatile food wine.
