2015 is the first vintage with which gun winemaker Paul Bridgeman has
been able to impose his own stamp of quality and view of what Chardonnay
could and should be. What a vintage to work with! This is a
Meursault-like Chardonnay of the highest quality.
Complex fruit characters of white nectarine, saffron, Pink Lady
apple, chamomile flower, cashews and leatherwood honey work in concert
with a tactile interplay of chalk, slikiness and Beurre Bosc pear-like
texture. Subtle acidity provides the backbone, convying the fruit
to a resounding finish. Ageing potential 10+ years.
