25 year old vines situated on a south-west facing hillside site.   Aged in a combination of concrete vats (25%), oak foudres and barriques.

Deep crimson in appearance.  Aromas of blackcurrant, violets, spicy notes of white pepper, liquorice and olive tapenade.  Hint of bay.  Harmonious and generously flavoured on the palate, dark cherry and blackcurrant complemented by roasted game.  Generously flavoured - plenty of 'flesh on the bones.'  Perfect match for grilled red meats.
