Honoring the historical legacy of 17 crus, Apanage Brut 1874 creates a distinctive backbone, featuring outstanding terroirs, including the magnificent Clos Pompadour in Reims. This blend integrates great vintages-primarily the superb 2018, with touches of 2015 and 2012-to highlight the Cuvée's originality. With a predominance of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from the finest origins, complemented by exceptional Meuniers from the Montagne de Reims and the Grande Vallée de la Marne, it is crafted to be appreciated by a broad spectrum of connoisseurs.

Nose

The first impression is of a bewitching bouquet of white flowers, with hawthorn and jasmine coming to the fore. This subtle harmony is supported by notes of ripe citrus fruits such as Sorrento lemons. These refreshing aromas gradually open up to more complex, toasty flavours of acacia honey, marshmallow and brioche.

Palate

After a smooth, delicately buttery attack, this champagne reveals notes of white nectarine, balanced by elegant freshness and the natural minerality of the terroirs from which it is made. The heart of the tasting, with its velvety texture, expresses the richness of the flavours and the complexity of the layers in the blend. The finish is full-bodied and long-lasting, enhanced by the notes of citrus zest which round off the panoply of flavours.
