Representing the best Shiraz produced from our Bendigo vineyards in any given year, the Special Release Shiraz label has earned quite a reputation over the years. 

The 2020 is the latest release of our flagship wine.  Opulent and brooding, satsuma plum, blackberry and black cherry fruits are all at play, enhanced by complex dark chocolate, toasty oak, and cedar spices. The concentrated fruit is evident on the front palate too, the round, youthful fruit character and fine tannins giving way to a gentle, supple finish with great length.

Decant to enjoy now, or cellar under suitable conditions to enjoy over the next 10 years, or more.

Impenetrable crimson in appearance.  Rich and brooding nose of blackberry, plum and black cherry interwoven with smoky oak.  Hint of vanilla and exotic spice.  Full bodied, velveteen in texture, immaculately balanced and harmonious - utterly seamless and beguiling.  Dark fruited in profile, with emerging bottle-aged complexity.  Drinking well now, but will only get better over the next several years.
