Springflat Shiraz is composed from 5 specific vineyard sites across the region. Parcels from our Adairs Lane Vineyard in the south make up 55% of this blend, with the remaining 45% coming from Farmers Picnic Vineyard, Mt Pleasant Vineyard, Col Mountain Vineyard and Spring Plains Vineyard. Many small ferments had up to 30% whole bunches retained. Opulent aromas of dark cherry, black olive, cured meats and vanilla. The palate is rich, filled with fleshy layered red fruits, roasted coffee bean, sweet spices and lovely natural acidity lifting freshness and length. Matured in 40% new French and American oak hogsheads for 20 months. Cellaring potential of 12+ years. 15.9% Vol.
