Pelaverga - perfect warm weather red from Italy's Piedmont region

Pelaverga is pretty much exclusively grown in the commune of Verduno, which is situated in the northern sector of Barolo. Bel Colle Pelaverga is a benchmark example of the variety, pale garnet in appearance with red fruits and a twist of spicy complexity.
